Tips

Have a tip to share?  Send it to support@functionpoint.com.
  • Do you have a long drop down list?  Instead of scrolling down the entire list, type the first letter of the item you're looking for.  For example, say you're looking for NY in the prov_state drop down list... type N until the field displays the province or state you want.
  • Use the Tab button on your keyboard to jump to different fields on the page.
  • The system understands a variety of terms in the date-related fields.
    • You can enter in terms like January 1, 2005, next Tuesday, tomorrow, today, Last Wednesday and Friday.
    • Entering in just the day name (like Monday) will populate the field with the date of the upcoming Monday.
    • Entering Next Monday will populate the field with the Monday after next.
    • Looking for information over several days?  Use "..." between the dates.  For example, if you want to see all of your tasks for the week, enter on the task find page in the date field Monday...Friday or Nov 1...Nov 30.  You'll get a list of all of your tasks for the week.
